Wherever you are, indoors or out, this portable AM/FM radio can be with you, thanks to the carrying handle and integrated rechargeable battery. The battery is automatically recharged when the unit is connected to mains, and it runs about 6 hours at normal use. The power LED also indicates the battery level. Convenience, however, is not the only reason to own a TEAC Model R-1: the sound quality – from a single speaker is outstanding.
