Delivery Service

Sound & Vision offers fast, efficient and effective delivery on all products ordered through our website.

Delivery Times

On all items that are in stock including large television orders - LCD televisions (over 35kg, typically 42" or above) and plasma screens, we specify that once the sale details and any outstanding financial paperwork have been processed, we aim to deliver within 1-3 working days.

For smaller items, under 10kg, next day delivery is available if the required item is in stock and ordered before 12pm.

For all other orders, please expect delivery to take up to 10 working days from the date that your order was processed. If you have any queries concerning the delivery or the sale of your product, please call 01204 861 861 Monday-Friday 9am-6pm.

Delivery Areas

The delivery of all products in stock will be completed as a door-to-door service in mainland UK only. We have previously experienced problems when delivering outside of mainland UK and as a consequence currently do not offer the facility to deliver abroad.

Sound & Vision prices include free delivery to most of the UK. Delivery to some areas may incur a surcharge on some items. This is calculated from your postcode before you check-out.

Delivery Partners

To accomplish our aim of giving customers the most efficient delivery possible, we use three different delivery companies.
All target delivery times are after the order has been processed.

XDP Express

LCD over 26" and Plasma televisions

Orders containing larger TVs (typically over 40" LCD and all plasmas) are aimed to be delivered within 7-10 working days. You will receive a courtesy email the evening before the delivery confirming whether it will be a morning or afternoon service.

Orders containing LCD TVs between 26" and 40" have a delivery target of 3-5 working days.

Next day and Saturday delivery options are usually available (at extra cost) for telephone or in-store orders.

City Link

Small items - DVD recorders, digital cameras, camcorders and LCD televisions (26" and under)

Once the order has been processed, you should receive a confirmation mail and the item will be collected for delivery. We aim for all items sent via Initial City Link to reach the customer within 3-5 working days.

A next day service is usually available (at extra cost) for telephone or in-store orders.

Royal Mail

Very small items - tapes, CDs and speaker wires

Once an order with only small items has been processed, items are sent out by First Class mail with the aim of reaching the customer within 3-5 working days.
