Q. How can Sound & Vision offer the lowest genuine price in the UK?
A. Sound & Vision has built up a reputation for bulk stock holding and the ability to deliver at lower prices than the competition.
Q. What type of products do Sound & Vision supply?
A. At Sound & Vision we believe that we hold more stock of home entertainment equipment than any other competitor. With our new multi-million pound warehouse and distribution centre we can hold more than 3 million pounds worth of stock at any one time.
Q. Can I purchase items not featured in your advertising or on the site?
A. Any models not listed can be ordered through our Sales Department on 01204 861861 and one of our operators will be happy to help. We can also specifically order models for you that we do not normally carry in stock or you can try our online quotation service here
Q. What method of payment can I use to order my goods?
A. Sound & Vision accept all major credit and debit cards including Visa, Mastercard, and Maestro. We also accept cheques and postal orders, these take a minimum of 10 days until payment has cleared. We also offer low rate finance offers available on application.
Q. Do you deliver outside the UK mainland?
A. Sound & Vision only offer deliveries to mainland UK including Northern Scotland, which has a surcharge for the delivery depending on the postcode. Unfortunately we do not offer any deliveries outside the UK.
Q. When will my goods be delivered?
A. Most stock orders for portable Home Entertainment products are delivered within 3-5 working days from clearance of payment. Large items i.e. projections and plasmas may take up to 7 working days for secure safe shipment.
Q. What about guarantees and servicing?
A. All products supplied are fully covered by the manufacturer's guarantee for a minimum of 12 months. All non-portable items are backed up by our NATIONAL IN-HOME SERVICE should the need arise. In the event of a fault, first check the plug, fuse, batteries and the manufacturer's operating instructions. Sometimes information is also found at the manufacturer's website which we suggest before filling in a service requirement form. (You can fill in this form on the web - you will find the link to the Customer Service Form at the bottom of the Terms and Conditions page).
Q. What information do you require when ordering and why?
A. Sound & Vision need to know your name, e-mail address, home address, delivery address, credit or debit card number and expiry date, your home and work telephone numbers. This enables us to authorise your credit or debit card payments, process and fulfill your orders and to notify you of your order status. Most importantly making sure the transaction is secure to prevent credit card fraud.
Q. What should I do if I have a complaint?
A. Should you in any way feel dissatisfied with any part of our service then please contact us at sales@soundandvision.co.uk. Sound & Vision's mail order manager will respond to your e-mail within 5 working days and endeavour to rectify the situation. Should you still feel that your grievance has not been properly addressed then you may of course continue correspondence with the general manager.
Q. Do you ship abroad?
A. We are sorry, but currently we do not ship to countries outside the UK.
