The latest technology is incorporated into the VT30 range allowing you to watch movies in stunning Full 3D HD and with so many films being released at the cinemas nowadays in 3D you are given the chance to recreate this at home in high definition. 2 pairs of active shutter glasses are included with the TV saving you money straight away and if you wish you can purchase additional pairs too. 2D images are also converted into 3D so with 2D to 3D conversion even regular TV viewing is amazing.
600Hz sub field drive technology in the VT30 range ensures that fast moving images are reproduced without any blur or judder. As a result the pictures on screen run smother without flickering and blur that often occurs from fast moving images is vastly reduced producing a far sharper image which is perfect for watching sports or playing games and the difference is noticeable.
Black reproduction which many televisions can find a struggle is not an issue on the VT-30 series though as with a deep black filter images appear smooth and natural giving you deep rich blacks and this is the case even when viewed in bright surroundings. When watching movies true deep blacks allow you to enjoy the film as the director intended you to feeling as if you are part of the action. With THX and ISF certification you can be certain colour reproduction is stunning too as the VT30’s have to pass strict guideline to achieve this status.
The VT30B range benefits from 2 built in digital tuners, Freeview HD and Freesat HD. Both of these offer a subscription free way to enjoy a whole array of free channels in high definition, the only real difference between the 2 being that with Freesat HD you need a satellite dish to receive the channels.
Viera Connect on the VT30 models allow users to access the BBC´s iPlayer, YouTube, Twitter, Skype and a host of other online services. This can also be done wireless too as the VT30 benefits comes with a Wireless LAN adaptor so you can enjoy your internet content without the need for messy cables via the included USB dongle. Another significant feature is the ability to make Skype calls to friends and family.
Connectivity isnt an issue either on the VT-30 models as with 4 HDMI inputs and 3 USB even the most ambitious of setups should be satisfied. Connecting up a USB device allows extensive video/music/photo compatibility with the Viera Image Viewer and built in DLNA sharing music and photos couldn’t be easier.
